AZ meets CO meets KC

Might as well start people thinking now!!

Happy New Year !!!

I see at least three others from AZ saying they are going to the 06 Fest!!
Tom, Tony, Gary and I can meet in Phoenix. Hook up with Lembo in CO., then on to KC!!
Norman, I hope you can find room in your garage for my sleeping bag!!
I believe after that all drivers license's are up for grabs

I just need to know what day we want to leave so I can put in for my two weeks off!!

Ken

I have to do a run to Dallas on the way to the Fest, but let me know your route and maybe after Dallas I can head North and link up with you all.

PS: Are we still on for the 14th?

I've made the run to Dallas too many times to count and I agree that it sucks. My daughter lives in Dallas and is having our first grandchild, so I don't have much choice in it this year.

Ken,

This year I left on the Friday before the fest and stayed with Jim for the weekend. We left on Monday morning and drove to KC to meet Norm and the KC crew. Stayed overnight at Norms on Monday and left early Tuesday morning for St. Louis. Met the SL crew for lunch and then headed to Bowling Green. Arrived at BG around 6pm on Tuesday. Did that so we could go to the DE at Nashville Speedway on Wednesday. The official start date for the fest is Thursday.

I know that I want to go to the fest in 2006 but don't have any plans right now on what I am going to do. I retire at the end of January and might just head up to KC early and hang with Norm or not.....time will tell as the fest gets closer.

I may be in Colorado by that time. I plan on going up there after the weather gets warmer there and buy a place to spend summers and come down to Az for the winters.???????

Tom

Hey, Tom!!

We're ready on this end!!!!

Leave KC early Tuesday morning, Lunch in St. Louis, and Bowling Green by beer '30.

(By the way, it's an easy drive up from Dallas, via I-35, about 8 hours)

Steve

Sorry but we have decided not to allow any KC or Colorado members to attend the Fest this year with the hopes of allowing more order and harmony to our gathering. We know that most people from both those locales are troublemakers and we are trying to 'clean up' our annual gathering

Mike

(the only exception is 'moderators' from either of those 2 locations)
