You guys driving across Kansas? I think I would rather ship my car to BG and fly!!
That's why I took Lauren with me last year, so she can drive across Kansas while I sleep!

Yeah: and you can only go so fast before getting nailed. So how fast will you guys go? Or is that one of those little secrets we never divulge to the internet spies?
Last time I went it was the wife and I, in a single car caravan going across KS. I just cruised about the speed limit
But the last few times I've been across I-70 the heat has been on especially between Oakley and Salina, and they use unmarked Crown Vics in different colors making it hard to spot 'em out

Last year the AZ folks traveled to CO over the weekend, then the AZ/CO folks traveled to KC on Monday. We left KC early Tuesday morning, ate lunch in St. Louis and picked up folks there, and were in Bowling Green by about 5:00-6:00 Tuesday night.
That left time to get a couple of hours sleep before getting up early Wednesday to drive to Nashville for the DE.
That'll probably be the same plan for this year.

Yup, Steve, that is the plan for this year too! Don't mess with success, right?
Funny this thread popped up. The wife mentioned, just the other night, that when everyone rolls into town that we have you all out to our place for dinner & a couple brews. You can't tell by looking at me but the women is a hell of a cook & I'm hell on wheels @ serving beer. Anyway your all welcome.
