Soooo, what's new with this caravan?
Kinda kicked around the idea of driving into Phoenix and picking up Ken, but he called and it didn't sound like he would be going.
It's a 6 to 8 hour drive from L.A. to Phoenix, depending on traffic, how much longer from there? I've never done any cross-country driving, much less solo, so still considering if this is do-able for me.
Gonna have to make flight plans soon , if not driving...

Scott,
It is a 10 hour drive to Jim Lembo's in Colorado from Phoenix. Then another whole day to get to KC and one more to get to BG. That is the way I went last year. Do not know how long it would take to get to KC directly from Phoenix.

I'll bet each leg of the journey got faster and faster, in terms of MPH, huh? So I'd be looking at eight days of driving, there and back... ...hmmm, gotta think this one over...

Thanks, Norm!
Wait a minute! That way the cops will have two Asians to pick on... ...and I'd be the slower one that gets caught! 'Specially since I'm bright yellow! Hmmm...
