Well, looks like driving with the caravan will have to be put off for another year. I found a fare that I couldn't pass up. That, plus the fact that I would need tires and some other stuff before the trip made it difficult to consider driving.
Sure sounds like it would be a blast, though. Just need more time and money to prepare, next year...

I don't know the route before Colorado but I can tell you they take I70 all the way from Denver thru KC and then thru STL. I think we take this route past STL.

Out of curiosity, by what highways, routes, roads, gravel, dirt paths are we traveling on Monday east-bound?
The reason that I am asking is that my "Pit Boss", Sweet Sue, want's a route where we can boogie.
I suspect that Jim Lembo knows as well as SC Smith.
Please share all such forbidden knowledge as "inquiring minds want to know."
Grins.
Bill,
When I leave from here we take the southern route and pick up US 50 in Lajunta, Co and take it to Garden City, KS,
from Garden City, we take K 156 and US 56 all the way to Ellsworth, KS where we pick up I-70. If you want to meet up and caravan the rest of the way to KC with us that would be great, and Ellsworth would be the place to hook up. (probably early afternoon) HTH, and did you ever get my last PM?
Jimbo

Need to get this back in sight, anybody else going to the fest from CO. or points west heading to K.C.?
Lembo is taking the southern route through the sticks
I hope to hook-up with Jim near Ellsworth, and tag along with him into K.C.
And I'm going to stick to Main Street and take I-70 across KS, and I think that FoxBat Racing is going this way as well

Have no clue at the moment. All I remember from last year (the ride was a blur) was that Jimbo and I arrived in the evening and had some REAL GOOD KC BBQ with you guys.
I think it is time to start a roll call on the AZ-CO-KS-MO-IA-?? caravan!!!
