Re: Bowling Green in September

So, where's all the info on this year's Fest? I know it's 6 months away, but we're ready! This will be our maiden voyage. Woo Hoo! What is the agenda? (besides the obvious non-stop party?) Should I count on a tour of the factory, some drag racing and maybe a HPDE? Can I make hotel reservations yet? I want the Presidential Suite.

Ok, just kidding about the Presidential Suite.

Here's a start for hotel, restuarants, etc in Bowling Green:

Get Rolling to Bowling Green, Kentucky! or call 800-326-7465

Plant tours are usually part of any NCM weekend event. Cost is $5 per person.

Don't worry about it Steve, all the info will start showing up here in the next few months. Just plan on driving up with Szwec and coming here first! Then we'll go to KC and pick up Norm and the rest of the KC crew and motor over to BG and start the party! I'm already fired up!

Yeah, I'm ready to go too. I'm thinking of trailering UVETTYA and doing the CO-KN loop. An extra couple days with you guys won't hurt a bit, and the more the merrier on a long drive. We'll see how it goes as the time draws near. Right now I just need info so I can plan!

Steve,
The Fest is Sep 11, 12, and 13, that's a thurs, fri & sat. Just plan on taking the whole week off. You and Tom get here on Monday night, tues. we'll drive to KC and wed. on to bowling green with the KC crew. We all stay at the Baymont Inn. I know that sooner or later Mark Dickie will post up the contact info for the hotel with the code for the group rate we always get.
Hope this helps!

Jimbo

Re: Bowling Green in September

Thanks Jim, that helps a lot. We need to ask for time off far enough in advance that they don't have any excuses. We'll probably take 2 weeks and swing by my sister's place in Arkansas on the way back for some venison steaks and bass fishing, then up to Iowa to give my mom a hug.

The only miles we will be counting this year are frequent flyer miles!! No more road trips for us to KY, we are flying!!!! Besides, with the cars we are driving now, it would take us twice as long to get there!
