Myself and a C6 Z06 owner will be leaving from the Chicago area sometime Wednesday morning. We'll be passing through Indy and Louisville on our way to BG. Post here if you are taking this route and want to caravan with us.

the Canada/MI/OH caravan might run into you guys around Indy-we are leaving on Wed also

Let me know what you guys think of this tentative schedule:

8:30am - Dave & Buster's in Addison - I'll meet up with ipmtim and any other NW Suburban people

9:15am - Meet robls6 at the Hinsdale Oasis

2:00pm? - Meet jpm71 in Indy and possibly the Canada/Michigan/Ohio crew

6:30pm? - Arrive in BG

I think that leaving the Chicago area after 9 is probably best to avoid the worst of rush hour.

I'll see you at the oasis at 9:15. It looks like I'm flying solo now since the GF is now a distant memory, so it will be nice to travel with some other people.

Well:

I'm getting a new clutch, DTE brace, and hardened output shafts installed at RPM on Friday of this week. Providing there are no issues there, I too intend to leave Indy Wednesday afternoon. I'll keep monitoring this thread. Do we have an exact exit # or meeting place in Indy? Also, is the 2:30PM Chicago Time, or Indy time? Remember, you go into EST, but get back to Chicago time just South of Elizabethtown, KY. By the times you have, if they are local, you have 5 hours to get from Indy to BG. It shouldn't take much more than 3.....

The 2:30pm is Indy time. I thought BG was on EST, so yeah we should get there a lot sooner than I said. Do you know a good place we could meet you near 465 and 65 on the south end of Indy? PM me with your cell number and I'll PM you back with mine. Hope to see you next week!

I'd recommend a couple exits south on 65 towards Louisville. I believe the County Line Road Exit has a large Kroger grocery store just West of the interstate(1/4 mile tops), might be a good place to meet. I'll PM you my cell phone #.

I planned to be part of the caravan but have a dead car at the moment. Can't bring myself to go without my car - probably be using that time to wrench on it instead. On the bright side, I should get an extra 100 to 150 ponies out of this (forged 402 with more boost).

Will be easier than me driving east to meet with the OH guys
