When are you leaving for the Fest?

I am currently planning to leave Wednesday morning for Bowling Green (going solo, somebody has to stay home with the kids and it's not her car!).

However, if several of the other DFW Z's are leaving Tuesday morning, I may try to talk my wife into leaving Tuesday also.

So, how about it guys? Who's going Tuesday and who's going Wednesday?

Well my wife just told me I should leave Tuesday so I can be there for the whole Fest!! Ya coulda dropped me with a feather!

So, I will be leaving Tuesday morning. Is anyone else from DFW going? Anyone? Hello? Is this thing on?

Heh, nice job....There is a Houston thread....And I think I saw a couple of Dallas guys in there...

Unfortunately Houston and Dallas (which are about 250 miles apart) take very different routes to get to BG, at least if each group follows the quickest path. Dallas route is I-30 to I-40 to I-65 (at Nashville). Houston route is probably I-10 to I-12 to I-59 to I-20 to I-65. They don't meet up till Nashville.


Oh well, maybe at the get-together this weekend I'll find someone else going.

I'm leaving Thursday at lunch (soonest I could get away) and will attend Friday and some of Saturday.

They do but its a third connection from most of the country, instead, arrive at Nashville, its only an hour from there....
