I suggest we all meet up at the Flying J trucks top on the west side of Knoxville. It is on the north side of I-40, exit 369, Watt Road. Plenty of parking, easy access to I-40 and it is on the west side of town so if we are leaving early we won't have to fight Knoxville traffic on the way out of town.

What do you East TN folks think about the Flying J as a meeting point????

For the folks coming from NC and points east you can stay one exit east at Campbell Station Road exit 373. There is a Baymont Inn (865-671-1010), Comfort Suites (865-675-7585), Holiday Inn Express (800-465-4329), and Super 8 (865-675-5566), along with a Cracker Barrel and Hardees.

If you need more info on the area drop me a PM or Email.

What about the Library in Farragut? It's just one exit before Watt Road and no truck stop traffic? It is on Campbell Station Rd.

Just a suggestion, truck stops are usually really crowded.

The problem with the library is the morning go to work traffic on Campbell Station is getting bad these days. Also I know several folks are trailering their cars and the library parking lot would be a tight fit for a truck and trailer. Now that there are lights on both sides of the bridge at Watt Rd. the traffic is not to bad. I go through there every morning on the way to work. Speaking of I guess I should get in gear and head that way now. Got to support the cars and their mods!!!
