Florida Caravan in 3 sections! South, Central and North!
Guys! Next years fest would be my 1st! And i want to plan this is early... you know how we floridians are. We need to plan with a lot of time!!!
Anyway! this is how i think it should work out:
Meet somewhere in South Florida. Then drive up to where the Central people would be waiting for the South Caravan. And then drive some more to go to pick up the North Caravan. By the time we are out of florida we should have a nice 10+ Z06 Caravan if not more.
Now.. we just have to work out the details. Let me know who is in.
I like the idea, it really depends on when people want to get out to BG. I for one will be getting to BG early, probably leave on Sunday or Monday and do the 10.5 hours in one shot.
I am hoping to set up a DE event for Tuesday and/or Wednesday at Nashville International as a pre-event item, more details to follow.
I will stay up-to-date with this thread to keep tabs on the plans.
Here is the Map.. we can probably follow this as our plans... and anyone that would like to jump into the caravan is more than welcome... check out the map!
So, it will start somewhere in Miami and we will have to pick a meeting spot close in central FL that is close to the route. That way we pick up the Central Folks... same with North and so on and so forth. You get my drift.

South group meets central group just north of where Florida Turnpike meets I-75, on I-75. Northern FL group joins just north of I-75 and I-10. GA folks can jump in as we make our way up I-75 towards Atlanta, maybe some of the GA folks can come up with a rest stop or something where folks can meet.
if everything goes without any problems and if we plan this good we could easily have 20+ Z06s by the end... all caraving together.. now wouldn't THAT be a sight.
I think this is a great idea and will meet up wherever/whenever. I'm going to the fest this year even if I have to quit my job. (Wait a minute, that's what pays for this stuff!)
Anyway, great idea and count me in. A DE event along the way sounds awesome too.
