Hi Guys,

Last year me and birddog singer left Fort Lauderdale on Tue at about 5 pm. We had a nice 2 Z caravan going!!!!!

We generally drive until about 1 or 2 AM and then find a hotel to crash for the night. This puts us just South of Atlanta.

We generally leave the next morning around 9 AM after the Atlanta traffic clears. This puts us into BG at around 1 or 2 PM. Later if we stop at the Jack Danials distillery !!!!

This plan gives you a half day Wed, all day Thur, Fri and Sat in BG. We generally leave early AM Sun and pull straight thru to Fort Lauderdale ( 12 to 12 Hours).

We take the same route JCamere mapped. Last year Jim and Rene drove home with us. We had a 3 Z caravan!!!!!

I already took extra time off this year in case I decided to leave early. I don't wanna rush up through the state of GA this year. There is a Trooper that dosen't like me there. I met him last year on the way home.

I will try to get this time off this year. this will be my first fest ever. If i can get the go ahead from work i'd love to caravan with the tampa/brandon people to meet the south people.

John,

Where are you at in Valrico, we are just minutes away in Riverview, and IvoZ06 is about to move into Valrico also.

We are gonna start having get togethers at the Ruby Tuesday's on Rte 60 in Valrico twice a month, keep your eyes open on the Southeast events section.

Looking forward to meeting you soon, and make sure you get the time off, once you go to the Fest the first time, it will be a must-go event every year thereafter...

I will join the fun on the way home on Sunday. I am leaving early AM on Sunday the 17th, meeting MSiska and his beautiful daughter for dinner that evening in BG.

I gotta get up there early to map out the MM road tour that is slated for Thursday, and make sure we have everything ready for the DE event on Wednesday morning.

anymore updates on this caravan? I will be leaving tuesday morning and would like to be in the caravan. I am planning to make it a 1 day trip so if the caravan is stopping i'll just see you guys at the fest. I want to be there tuesday night. is this still going on or what?
