My wife and I hope to be there before dark Tuesday, so this may work. We will be ready anytime around noon. It is a 5 hour drive from Marietta (to BG and about 4 hours to Nashville. It is best to go around Nashville rather than though it) assuming no major backups on I-75

I am wondering the same thing. I am planning on leaving brandon early tuesday morning (probably 5 or 6 am) to make atlanta around noon or so. then i plan to stop in nashville at hardrock cafe for dinner around 4 or 5 or whenever I get there and then back on the road to bowling green. From 33594 to BG is 775 Miles. 11 -12 hours

That makes for a long day. Last year I went with the Crazy NE Caravan to W VA Monday Night and left for BG Tuesday. it was nice.

What about Leaving Monday night and driving 5-6 hours, stopping and get a fresh start Tuesday AM.

Be in BG about 1 or 2.

Just a thought.

I am making my final run to Florida tomorrow. About 12 hours, stopping for gas, nature calls and food.

i have to work on monday and so does my girlfriend so I wouldnt be able to leave until late in the evening. I would rather get a good night sleep and just make the trek in a single shot.

Hey Guys,

Due to 2 new large clients for my business it looks like i'm not gonna make it this year. It's not set in stone but it's not lookin good.

I got a meeting tommorow and if the timeline gets approved i'm gonna have my hands (and my new employee's hands) full for a solid month or two.

Hate to miss the Fest but i can't turn down this payday.

I'll let you all know but pretty much count me out :-(

Birddog should still be going and Jim may go as well.

From our area, BG is 10-10.5 hours, traveling at around 78-79 mph. I did it last year with about 3 or four stops. Took a good 30-45 minute stop for lunch, the others were quick gas up stops...
