Florida, SE caravan

Who will be leading the caravan? I will be going on Tuesday. I'm not participating in the HPDE though. I'm really looking forward to my first Fest.

Scott, I'm trying to figure out the same thing here from the northeast. I also wont be in the HPDE, so we can drink and be the cheering section. I'm going to be in FL that weekend to bring my son to my mom's for a few weeks, then back to NY to start the caravan either Monday or Tuesday. If I had my car in FL, I'd just stay and drive up with you guys......see you there

I guess you'll just have to drive down then! The more the merrier. I know Mark Dickie is going up the week before and I think IVO might be going on Monday. I can't leave on Monday.

Hmm, don't think that thought hasn't already crossed my mind, but I'd rather not spend 16 hours in the car with a 7 year old saying "Are we there yet" "My butt hurts" "I'm bored" You bored kid??? Well hang on j/k no spirited driving with the children in the car.

My son usually sleeps most of the way on a trip.

He also has his gameboy or a laptop to watch movies.

I like playing catch up

We have to schedule times to meet up on the way. I think I left at 4 or 5 AM last year.
The only traffic I hit was getting around Atlanta!!

Must find another way.

I always leave around midnight and hit ATL. just before the morning rush.
Usually roll into BG by 11 am.
