I just wanted to get an idea on who's planning on attending this year's ZO6 Fest. Also, are you planning on driving the Z, or trailering it? If your traveling alone, let me know and I'll try to match you up with someone.
I'm considering trailering. Let's get a huge Caravan going!

I'll be up in TN the week prior to the Fest. I will try and catch the Houston Z's there for the final leg. I have a few cell numbers but, would like to have a few more from people going that way. It will make it easier to find everyone.

Hey Kaya,
I was thinking about turning North in Baton Rouge, is that the way you were planning to travel, and when were you planning on leaving. I'll email you.
The fastest way for us is to go through Mississippi up 59 The Interstate that runs through Hattiesburg and then get on 65 in Birmingham and from there its straight to Nashville and Bowling Green.
Now for you to get to 59 from Baton Rouge it is only about 45 min if you take I -12 from Baton Rouge to Slidell and get on I-59 there. It takes us on average from Houma,(an hour south of New Orleans) about 11 hours to get there. From I-59 in Slidell the route takes about 9 and 1/2 hours.
I have never been the I-55 to I-40 route and do not know the amount of time it would take, but I bet it would be about the same, by looking at the map and if you factor in the extra time to get through Memphis.....which we would hit at around the lunch hour...it may take longer. We are usually in Birmingham (on the I-59 route) at around lunch time and it isn't too bad.
We have made this trip 4 times and this will be our 5th.
We leave at about 5 am and hit Slidell 1 1/2 hours later, usually in Birmingham around lunch and in Nashville by about 3 pm depending on how many stops along the way and last time we were in Bowling Green for about 4 pm. That sometimes includes a 45 min stop at a cracker barrel along the way....so if we pushed it we could be faster.
Let me know....We are planning on leaving Tuesday because I would like to do the Justin Bell School.
i was leaving on tuesday. looks more like wednesday now. could meet up in houston. i would like to be there by thursday--got to clean the beast and lots of things are happening on that day. let me know. i am pretty well open to anything.

Hehe, Dust, it was like this last year too.....The hardcode (posters in this thread) will reply, and it will look like there's only like 6 of us going, but its amazing how many showed up last year......
I've heard from the NCM that first year events are the make or break event.....and our turnout was fantastic. I would expect quite a few more this year....
The C5 Birthday Bash had 303 the first year......we had 290 ish
I'm going to PM you my cell phone number. Let's plan on talking one evening this week. We'll look at the Road Atlas, and go from there. I would very much welcome your input......after-all it may just be us.

Thanks for the enthusiasm.
I still plan on catching you in TN. I am an early bird. I am going to be there on the tenth at the latest. I plan on leaving Memphis at about 3 am on the tenth. I can be in Nashville at 5 or 6 in the morning. Let me know the plan. I have both of your numbers and will be in touch.
