We can probably meet up with you either in Cincinnati or somewhere on I-75. I will check on mapquest to see what works best.
Hope to see you on the way to BG
Look up last years thread, I gathered everyone together at the White Castle in Florence KY. There should be a map and directions there. It was a good meeting point for people coming from the NE (Columbus) and the north (I-75 Dayton, Toledo, Michigan etc).

Madvetter,
With you leaving at 5:30am, we can meet you around 7:30-8:00 I think. I will check the mileage for sure. We are looking forward to joingin up!!
8:00 would be about right. Alot depends if that construction around the Michigan border is still happening. Just went thru there on Monday. They have 3 lanes going to one.
In Findlay 18 would be around exit 160 (159 is the Shell)?
Super! More orange barrels Only in Michigan do they have you going from 3 lanes to 1 in less than half a mile with no warning
Exit 160 Did I miss something
I probably won't be able to sleep either
What time did you go thru the border
In reference to Old Red, exit 159 is in Findley, Ohio where I usually stop for gas/break. Exit for Rt 18 is one mile further south I believe.
I left Sterling Heights about 6:15AM and took 696 to 275 S. Traffic was moving till I hit the Michigan barrels. Not sure about the border time as the barrels took another 30-45 minutes of "standing still!" MDOT is doing some bridges so it may still be active in July.
I did make it to Canton in 4.5 hours (one stop). But made it back in 3.5 hours (one stop).
I guess that sounds ok with me. We'll have to get everybodys #'s for communication. I have Nextel.
My tripkit shows taking 94 to 75. Do you think taking 94 to 696 to 75 would be any better traffic wise, Reproman. Or would that be more out of the way
Old Red, how is the gas prices down there for 93-94 octane
Depends on traffic. 75 SB gets really congested at times and the pot hole rocks have really beat up my other vehicles. That and the speed traps at Allen Park and other places usually has me avoiding 75. 696 and 275 usually have fast lane traffic at 85 without much of an issue and the surfaces are much smoother without gravel missiles .
Although I did return last week from Ohio and took 75 N all the way to 696 W. It was fast and the roads seem to be OK.
Going to Dayton on Wednesday so I'll take some "notes" on times and miles.
Ohio gas is usually cheaper. Must be because their roads are smoother and don't need all that gas tax money to toss cold patch on your car.
94 Octane today was 229.9 per gallon today. In the last two weeks it has been as low as 217.9. 93 Octane has been as low as 209.9 in the last two weeks.
