This one might be way outta your way. We go North to West Virginia from Maryland and then head to Bowling Green after the hook up in Charleston, WV. I think you can go pretty much west and get to BG a lot faster. Check with Rob1vet or some other guys from the NC/SC area not sure if they have a bunch going at the same time or not. Good luck on the road trip.

Anyone interested in just cannonballing it right to the museum? I know for a fact the V1 radar detector works wonders with the old school radar systems they use down there.
I'm not really sure if I want to setup a hotel for one night elsewhere. maybe. If so where and what hotel is everyone staying at?

I think we had around 15 cars last year. Averaged 80 or so. Your welcome to be scout for us Gene. We will catch up to you in BG. We leave on Tuesday morning and meet up for the lunch thing and then straight to the fest. On the makers mark run we averaged 140+ in a few spots. Just a note for you. Make sure you have a full tank of gas before doing this run. Don

Glad this thread is finally revived!!! Can we get a show of hands as to what day (Mon or Tues - early) we are leaving? I'm guessing we'll pick up others along the way but we need to get a count going so we know who we're picking up/where and when the NY/NJ/PA people plan on leaving. The goal is to reach the WV group for lunch Tuesday afternoon......if we leave early enough Tuesday morning, we'll make WV for the lunch. Let's get to it NY/NJ/PA........Let me know for sure who's going so we can plan a route (unless of course someone else already has it planned out - but if not, I'm willing to take the lead here). Oh and Gene, ya you can DEFINATELY go out front
