Ok so we are talking 66 west. how much time does it take you to hit 66 Ed? For me it's about a half hour or so with little traffic. Tuesday morning early should not be a problem.
I would like to get the most Z brothers we can get in formation. So everyone think about it and post up.
About 15 minutes to I-66 for me.

Ok. So instead of leaving from laurel maybe the best thing is to stay with dad in Potomac so we can catch up with you on 66. Are you pretty firm on the 0500 time frame. I was thinking it might take Mike and or Denny some time to get over that way as well? IF we meet up before 0600 sometime we should still be in WV before noon right?
I'm sure MSiska will correct me if I'm wrong but I think we met ~ 0630 along Rt 66, and still made it by 12. We had time to wash the cars, meet up with other arrivals after us, eat and then roll out.
And we didn't need to do any unrealistic driving either....tops was 70 I think.
i spoke to the dealer today..

Ah Mikey,

You da man, bro!!

i do his Page Ranking photos and advertising pix .. he is currently using this one on a full page ad .. color.. with my car..
i love it
last year we ate in the guts of the old dealership.. the day after we left they demolished it .. and built this one.
I won't be able to make the Fest this year, but I must say that for anyone coming from the Northeast, lunch at Joe Holland Chevrolet, is well worth the stop and time. WVphoto (mike), set up a great deal last year, and Joe Holland Chevrolet, treated us to a great lunch and good time. One could not ask to meet friendlier or nicer people.

Have a safe trip and enjoy the Fest.

You will be missed. Hope to see you at next years.

FYI I will be leaving after the banquet/auction on Saturday night and will be going back after a stop in Cincinnati to visit my two sons. So I will not be travelling back with the caravan from the fest.
I will be using a GMRS/FRS radio on channel 6 subchannel 0. If you want my cell phone send me a PM so I don't have to post it in public. I may or may not put my CB radio on board. I will have a GPS navigation system and radar detector with me.
I encourage you to get/borrow a GMRS radio so we can chat during the trip, it makes the event more fun and makes the time go by more quickly. We will have about 12 hours of driving on that day.
Well I have run numerous simulations on my new GPS navigator and the I-68 route to Parkersburg then south is the fastest route(counter intuitive to me). So I will go that way instead of the I-66 to Front Royal and then south path. So a new rally point is needed. A previous meeting point has been Criswell Chevrolet(Gaithersburg). Is anyone north of there that is going in this caravan? Anyone have a better suggestion? Rally time would still be at 0600.
