Unfortunately I have to work on Monday and planned on heading out "early" Tuesday am to meet up with the Caravan.
Where exactly is Hurricane Chevy located? It sounds like some of the East caravan members also planned to head out Tuesday.
If the plan is to meet at Hurricane for lunch on Tuesday I think our the group has a good shot at arriving around noon if we leave early.
Does this sound feasable? Any other suggestions?
Bill
Bill-hey that will work-12 noon doesn't have be set in stone, we are flexible could always meet at 1 or 2 and still make it down to BG for dinner.... what if you started a caravan from Philadelphia area, and WVphoto and I will continue it in Charleston, WV area.
Anyone volunteer to start the CT/NJ area caravan Mon?
wvphoto-different dealership? humm now THAT sounds interesting! let's do it!!!!
It's NASCAR week at Loudon, NH that week. The change in the Z06fest dates messed us up this year. I'll miss the fest. Good luck.
Dave
WHAT?

What City are these dealerships in?
How far is it to BG from there?
Is there an overnight stay planned somewhere if I leave Monday night?
I know, so many questions......
I can plan something for the Virginia/NC group on the way.
I love the smell of smoking tires in the morning
the dealership we have met at before Tues at 12 noon was in Hurricaine, WV-the guys from the NE area would leave on Mon, spend the night in Morgantown, then cruise down Tues to meet up with the WV folks-we would end up at BG around 6 pm.
Someone from NJ/CT needs to volunteer to take the lead and start a caravan Mon!

The NE Caravan stayed Monday night at the Holiday Inn Express on I-68 near Morgantown, WV for the last two years.
The dealerships are in Charleston, WV which is about a three hour trip (all interstate) from the hotel in Morgantown.
Bowling Green is a four to five hour drive from Charleston. Last year we average 83 mph on the road with 9 of us from Morgantown and 13 of us from Hurricane Chevrolet.
I can give better directions to the hotel if anyone plans to stay there Monday night.

With Mark moving, Sconi not coming that leaves just Speedracer from the far north.
In the PA area, I am leaving Tuesday AM with the intention of meeting up for lunch (can you say night running ) and that also appears to be THRLSKR plans. Joe is leaving Wednesday.
It just might be unless the DC crew is leaving on Monday the meeting place might just be lunch on Tuesday?

I'm probably going to trailer this year, so I'll be a slopoke anyway. I plan on leaving on Tuesday and spending a night in WV and then arrive Wedneday in BG.

I-66 TO I-81 which will get you to Charleston, WVA area.

From where I am I just take 64 (64 does merge into 81S at Staunton and then back on 64 at Lextington VA) all the way to Lexington Kentucky then pick up 24 to 65.
