Since I have meeting in Charleston all of the time I have stayed at about all of the hotels there at one time or the other. The two below are nearest to the South Charleston Chevy Dealer and almost share the same parking lot. The Ramada has the best exercise room.
If you're coming up the turnpike (I-77), once you get off get on I-64 West and go to the Montrose Exit, stay in the right lane and go under the exit ramp bridge to the stop sign. Turn right or stay to the right and the two motels are about two blocks from there on th left. If you're coming down I-79 South it merges into I-77 South on the Charleston outskirts. Stay right and follow the signs to Huntington which is I-64 West and once you cross the Kanawa River in Charleston the Montrose exit is only a few miles.
Dragon,
Since you spend a lot of time in Charleston, how do my directions look fom the highway to the dealership? I used mapquest so who knows if the route through Charleston is as simple as it looks. Thanks
I am going to book the Ramada Inn for the 19th. So lunch is still on for Tuesday at noon, then off to BG.
Anyone else going from my neck of the woods. I will be taking 64W clear across Virginia.
IVO....I think lunch in Charleston is on tuesday the 20th, then off to BG with the caravan. Or am I mistaken?
I plan on taking 81S to 64W into Charleston on tuesday. Leaving my house about 5-5:30am. 6 hours to Charleston.
Also...look at the first post in this thread. I believe Jeremy (speedracer) has updated with directions to the dealer in Charleston.

Yes as far as I know lunch is on Tuesday the 20th at noon.
I am planning on driving Monday night to Charleston and spend the night there. That way it does not make for such a long day of driving. I will be bright eyed and bushy tailed

Jeremy,
When you get off at Montrose stay in the right lane until you get to the red light at the end of the ramp. You'll turn right at this light but you will need to get in the left or center lane down hill to the next light so you can turn left. The dealer is about a 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile from this light.
I'm not too sure I'll get to go to the Fest this year but I'll make it a point to make it to Charleston so I can see all you guys and Leslie.

Mike,
I'll be hittin' with you, tagging along!! Really getting siked for this, getting to see everyone again!
Could you PM your cell number to me? My cell lost all my contacts a couple weeks ago and trying to get them all re-entered. Have to love Nextel!!
Say there Bigg Lee,
Try to get in touch with Speedracer, Backlash, or there's several others..above. It'd be great to have you join up with us. It is a fair gathering in WV then the cruise to the dealership and pick up a couple more cars for the drive to KY.
IVO,
Yes we use FRS, last year we were on channel 6.0 but that may change to suit what everyone is able to access.
Mike
