NE Caravan - Travel Times

Here is what I believe our day will look like on Monday:

Sconi and I will be leaving Chelmsford, MA. Sconi, I would like to leave around 7 am from Skips, let me know if you want to meet for breakfast.

We will travel I-495, I-290, I-90, I-84 and pick up Speedracer in Newburgh, NY. Jeremy, we should be down there around 10:15 am or so.

We will travel I-84, I-81 to I-70 in Maryland and pick up Panzer and MSiska just west of the I-81/I-70 intersection. Mike/Ed, we should be there between 2:30 and 3:00 pm. FiveOJoe and Backlash it would be great if you guys could meet us there, but I am not sure the timing works for you guys.

We will travel various cow pastures along I-70 and I-68 through Maryland and West Virginia to Exit 7 on I-68 in Morgantown where we will stay the night at the Holiday Inn Express. We should arrive between 6:00 and 6:30 pm.

My cell phone number is 978-604-0292, and we will be using Channel 6 on your FRS radio for communication.

Mark

2:30-3:00. Ok...Ed and I will be there. Ed...leave criswell at 1-1:15? Shouldn't be too much traffic on 270 at that time.

Roger 1300 at Criswell Monday.

For the last 12+ years I have been traveling this stretch of road on average once every 5 weeks to visit my sons in Cincinnati. So I know the high 'smokey density' areas. This is not fool proof of course since they move around. I will have to see if I can scare up a CB antenna that has its own ground plane.

Tom and I will be leaving the King of Prussia area around 2pm. That puts us about two hours behind you you guys at the Hagerstown meet. Too many meeting places will just slow everyone down anyway. We'll be in Morgantown around 7pm . Plenty of time to watch Monday night football (Go Eagles!!) and meet everybody

7:00 PM? Don't you get to "borrow" a set of lights for the top of the vette? I thought we could shave at least an hour off...

I'll try to be in Morgantown around 8 am Tuesday morning for the trip to Charleston. Gr8fulDave who has an 03 EB will also be in Morgantown Tuesday morning.

My cell phone is 304 281-2221. Give me a call if you decide to leave before I get there and I'll kick in the afterburners.

Mark,

Joe and I are going to try and leave closer to noon and will give you a call as we approach 81. I think we have a good chance now of catching you on 81 or when you hook up with Siska and panzer.

Hope you all keep safe and have a good time.
