What time is "very early"? It's about six hours from Houston to Texarkana.

The trip should take us about 15 hours if we only stop for fuel and food. I'm cool with stopping in Texarkana for an hour or so for lunch and to meet up with the N. Texas people. If we leave Houston at 4 AM...that should put us in Texarkana right around lunch time. Does that sound about right?

Last year we left Texarkana about 9:30 or 10:00 AM for BG...it's about 8-9 hrs from Texarkana to BG. Put us in BG about 6 or 7 PM. What time is the N Texas group planning to arrive in Texarkana ?

Ok. Here's the list of who is going. We'll figure out the details as the event draws closer. I am also willing to leave Houston on the 18th as long as I get to dyno the car that morning.

I'm new to Houston but this will be my second Z06 Fest. May trailer the Beast or I may drive it...to early to make that decision at this point. Unless I am either dead or actively dying, I'll be there...

You are welcome to fly to Houston and drive to BG with me. Absent my garmin GPS, I am geographically challenged and could use a lovely navigator...

You may want to add Art Mack - King Arthur. Art and I drove our two black Z06's up from Louisiana last year. It really helped to have walkie-talkies and serious radar detectors. We made it from Baton Rouge to Memphis in about 3 and a quarter hours at an average speed of 98.3 mpg - average. I am still waiting for someone to develop in-flight low-level refueling for the Corvette. Just my $0.02 worth.
