You may want to add Art Mack - King Arthur. Art and I drove our two black Z06's up from Louisiana last year. It really helped to have walkie-talkies and serious radar detectors. We made it from Baton Rouge to Memphis in about 3 and a quarter hours at an average speed of 98.3 mpg - average. I am still waiting for someone to develop in-flight low-level refueling for the Corvette. Just my $0.02 worth.

I'm in...we can all meet at a place off I-59 and FM1960 like last year for lunch and caravan up to Texarkana.
The only way to say is to say it. I have been looking at a C6 and thought I would wait for the C6 ZO6 but bottom line I just find the styling awful and a major fall from Corvettes high standards. I will not be going along to the Fest as I bought a Viper call it disloyal if you like. I hope you have a blast I will always love the Vettes and have owned 6 and I will buy one again when they restore the Corvette leadership. I'm one who is less interested in overall performance when it is at the sake of a huge screw up in styling I want both HAVE FUN AND SAVE THE WAVE!!!

Most seem to be arriving in BG on 5/19/05. I wonder if there is interest in a Texas Caravan that arrives in BG on 5/20? Perhaps our group could convene on 5/19 along the way. I'm rolling out of Austin at OH dark early on 5/19. I'd like to get over half way there the first day so am looking at a stop over in Memphis. Should be some fun things to do there that night. We could converge at TexarKana or other spot along the way.
This will be my first Z06Fest and I can't wait to take Patriotic Blue back home.
