How much lead time to get a time slot and how reliable is the schedule once se?. I live in Nevada and would be on a schedule.
Does this package pass emissions?
NEVRL8,
This package has passed TX sniffer tests, I suspect it would pass
every states testing but don't know for sure.
The lead time on doing this Package is about 2-3 weeks
The 4 day time slot is actually on the conservative side.
Let me know if you have any further questions or would like to schedule your car.

Some kind folks on the other forum pointed out that 15% of the posted numbers is right on with you BHP numbers.
I usually figure on about a 50HP loss through the driveline. But using the 15% I can see that it should be pretty close. I was curious if they had dyno'd the engine on a real dyno, or if the numbers were simply the result of a calculation like 15%.

I disagree... When you could never get any traction, then that's when you know you have too much HP. Didn't jnation have that problem and ended up selling his car?
OK, here's another PITA question from me. For the same money, why not get your S/C with more power and torque? I am curious as to the benefits of both, I guess.

First off, no, I don't believe Jeff Nation sold his car because of traction problems. Jeff was neither a drag or track racer and did nothing to change the rubber on his set up. It was pretty though, which was what he wanted in the first place since he did a lot of 'show and shines'.
Getting traction is a function of the tires you run and driving skill. I think you will find a great number of folks who know how to handle high horsepower cars (and Z's) on both the strip and street and most use different tires than stock.
I run stock tires for everyday use and if a street race ever devlops (not saying it does), the nice thing about the higher hp is that you don't have to use it all to win a race (ie. don't jam the pedal to the floor in every gear). At the track, with stickier tires, you can get more aggresive and still control the bigger hp Z's.
Jeff was ruuning 19/20's in a 10 width rear. Very hard to get a car like his to hook up no matter what, much less the smaller tire width. It looked sweet from the profile though.
I think Jeff likes building things, creating what his eye wants to see...and he's good at it.

No experiance here, just hear-say. I've read that if you're running the engine harder than usual like on a track, forced induction develops more heat problems. I think the curves of the torque and horsepower are also different. As I said though, I'm really not the person to tell you, but since no one else has answered you yet I figured I'd throw this in.
