Anybody try Adam's products? My review...
I'll start off by saying that I am in no way affiliated with this company, and I just met this guy, Adam. He does place his products in a well known non-supporting vendor's catalog, so, if interested, you can search and find his stuff.
I was given a few samples of Adam's products--Detailing Spray, Butter Wax, VRT tire dressing, microfiber towel, and a detail sponge at our Friday gathering at Ruby's Diner, here in SoCal. The stuff seems to work well--easy on and off, with great visual results (for a MY car). I'll have to see how the longevity of the finish is and report back later.
Here's my review of the items I tried:
Detail Spray--Ok, this has got to be one of the best I've tried for my applications. Works great on glass. The kicker for me was the "dewpoint" application. If you're like me, where you wash and dry late in the day, rushing to finish before it's totally dark then you may like this one. You can apply and wipe off without a lot of streaking and buffing due to the cold, moist surface. It won't prevent dew from forming again, later, but it sure is easier to use if you're finishing up your car when those conditions are prevalent. I'm sticking to this one.
VRT (Vinyl, Rubber, Trim) Protectant--another good product. Adam tells me it is water-based, vs. oil-based, and this bears out when rinsing out the applicator. Nice satin finish, no signs of "flinging". Not sure about longevity, yet. Of note: Adam told me that he HATES the shiny look on tires, so if that's your preference try something else. Also, he did say that due to the water-base formula you may get some streaking on items like those big, black plastic truck mirrors, when the morning dew runs off of it. He said that due to the ease of use (VERY easy!) he would rather give the mirror housing a quick touch-up than have some oily protectant on it. It wipes off of glass and paint easily, too!
Butter Wax--a liquid wax said to contain Carnubas, polymers, and resins. It went on easy, but not as easy as NXT or Zaino, in my opinion. Of course it was the first application, and had not been polished or clay bar'ed, as recommended, so that may have a bearing on that aspect. Yellow is not the color to really check the depth of finish on, but it did leave it smooth, shiny, and with that buttery wax feeling that is all too often missing with the polymer-type "waxes". The longevity of the finish and water beading is still to be tested. A good product, I'm waiting to see if it's gonna be a GREAT product... The jury is still out, for me, so I'm giving this
Microfiber Towel--like most, a made in China product. No lint pull-off on glass and a finer weave than the bulk microfiber towels I've gotten at Costco. The towel IS new, and has only been through one wash, so again, I'll have to wait and see if it's quality is superior. Initially, it seems to be better than those Costco towels. I like them, but not sure of their cost/per...
Detail Sponge--a soft, round foam sponge pad. Not something I would have thought to be spectacular, but I was surprised at how well it worked! I've used other sponges, applicators, cotton pads, etc., but this thing worked darn good with Adam's VRT dressing, especially on those grooved F1 Supercars!
So, there you have it, a quick (but wordy) review of some of Adam's products. I like them. You probably will, too. I got them for free, so maybe I'm biased, but if you check his guarantee you have nothing to lose, too. I try MANY car care products, mostly COTS (commercial off-the-shelf), not much "boutique" stuff. I won't say that I'll use any product exclusively, I tend to use what I feel is best for the occasion. That said, I'll still use my NXT, Zaino, etc., but I think I may be adding quite a few of Adam's stuff to my detail bag-of-tricks...

S-tee....Thanks for the rundown on the Adams products. Like you, I am always looking for car detailing products that "work" and provide outstanding results.
I may have to try the detailing sponge and the micro-fiber towels.
Im still trying to find the NXT....I don't think it has shown up in Idaho yet
It was the guy at the Adam's booth at Carlisle that taught me the plastic bag trick (see this thread: Detailing tip and Claying testimonial )
He was using the detailer to clay the car, and then to do a final wipe. All this in the Bright, HOT, direct sun. The finish was awesome. Any product that works well in that heat has got to be pretty darn good.

Thanks for the locator tip Bob. There is a Walmart in Missoula, the closest city, and its only 150 miles away. I'll be sure and check their car care products my next trip up there...

That was probably Adam, himself! He told me he was over at Carlisle giving away samples of his detailer...
It's been a few days since I've applied his stuff, and I'm liking it better and better! That Butter Wax has kept a glow on the finish that I haven't seen in a long time.

Here's an update on my review...
I had a chance to use the Brilliance Glaze over my freshly clayed car, and WOW! Talk about having a glassy finish. This stuff was applied right over my moldings, glass, chrome, and paint using a microfiber applicator sponge, allowed to sit for a couple of minutes, then wiped off with a microfiber towel. It looks like someone poured a coat of glass over the car. Very easy to put on and take off, too!
The thing that got to me was that my whole detail session was totally waterless. I started with a California Car duster, to move some of the dust off of the car (Adam scoffed at that), followed by a wipedown with Adam's Detail Spray using a microfiber towel. Next came a rubdown with Adam's Clay Bar, lubricated with his Detail Spray. Wiped on the Brilliance Glaze right over what residue remained from claying, then buffed off with a microfiber towel. You wouldn't believe the shine!
From what Adam said, he's due to become a supporting vendor early next spring. I hope so, 'cause he's got good stuff. Plus it'll give more choices to the Zaino/NXT debate...

I can testify to the fact that when I met Adam at Carlisle and after watching the show he put on claying my friends '00 BG Green Metallic....I was definitely sold on his products. So much that I have been a hard core Zaino guy now for years and Adams polishes out shines anything I have ever used..!! Top it all off...he and his staff worked almost until dark @ Carlisle doing the BG Green Corvette of my friends and was happy to do so!! Highly recommend!! My Z16 is just awesome looking...no swirls, just a deep wet look that shouts out at you......

Silvertp, you should be able to find the NXT if you have a Walmart out there.
Bob
Funny thing is, I struck out at all three of our local Wally worlds, but found the stuff (NXT) at Shmucks. Not impressed, BTW, and going back to Zaino.
