Who has installed these on their ZO6s? Since I installed my X-pipe and partition, I fell like( sound wise) I'm driving a Cadillac
I tried an SLP Loudmouth System months ago,but was way too loud. And since than have done away with the Pre-cats, TPIS headers, etc. I just don't want the resonance inside the car. HELP!

I wouldn't mind driving a car that performed and handled like the Z06 and yet was as silent as a mouse. Hehe, don't need to announce my arrival.

That "Stealth" mode is OK for a while, but gets old quick.
I think it will work for me. One of the main modifications goals when I was working on my previous car was to make it fast, yet be as quiet as possible. I remember it is not easy but it was a nice challenge to undertake.
The stingers have a drone at low rpm (below 2,000rpm) in my car I don't really like. Almost too much but I have no cats so it really flows.
Have debated about putting back on stock stystem to lower sound levels and see if any horsepower difference.
Now on the track though this baby sounds awesome!!

I like mine. I couldn't wait to get it put back on my newest Z. I had it put on today and can feel a seat of the pants power increase. I also like the looks. Their is very little Resonance and with the partition it should kill that. You can't beat it for the money
VERY happy with my Borla. Not too loud at idle and screams at WOT. Just what I was hoping for. ( It will make you rush for the cotton plugs in a dyno room)
Thanks for all the input guys. Guess I'll give them a try. I think with the partition and X-pipe, is there is any "drone" , it should be very faint. Maybe between the X-pipe and the Borla's, I can pick up another 8 to 10 HP( if I can get 370 rwhp,I'll be happy). Ordering in the AM. Thanks
Nick, your right....the sound alone is worth no HP....
My Z is in the Mod shop right now for some tweaking...later today I will be down there for a dyno session...at that point I can really determine if there was a real gain. This will be my 34th dyno on my '02...I'm at 395RWHP before the Stingers...in the hunt for 400RWHP on the Dynojet(winpeps software) this is all with bolt ons.
Breathless Performance, Halltech and my checkbook deserve all the credit....these 2 companies are a pleasure to deal with and as a admnistrator of our 2 sites I am proud of our affilliation with these 2 fine companies.
Les, don't forget that thermostat relay unit while you are Ernies. It's a must have for us down here and it is the only real way to take advantage of the lower temp thermostat. See you soon.
Don, thanks for the reminder...I would have forgotten....you saved me a trip back...thanks.
As always, it was great seeing you on Saturday....that Show was great....that '66 red Big Block Vette in your club is AWESOME...good thing it was not for sale....I was awe struck by that car.
I may hit the Ecklers event on Saturday for a few hours...I will probably go on Friday night and head back early in the afternoon.
