Looks cool . . . only concern that I'd have, is the fact that it's a different pattern than your existing sill covers . . .

Quite at that!

CF? Naw . . waiting 'till MMS is done before adding anything. 1/2 way tempted just to buy the raw materials & fit myself, but still looking for kits . . . engine, and interior.

dan-wait 'til the interior kit comes in then see how you like it all together-I know you want QUALITY-you don't seem convinced.

breathless performance also make a sweet cf door sill, similar to that one-lots of clear coat

I have those on my Z as well. I think they look nice. I bought my Z from the original owner that way so it has been there all the time, but it goes well.

Doesn't the coating on the carbon fiber piece 'scuff' 'scratch' 'get damaged' just like the original? I guess this is present to change the interior appearance not to provide protection for the stock door sills?

I have chrome ones on mine-yeh, it's more for looks than protection but I would think the CF would show less wear than my chrome huh?

The surface of chrome, a metal, has to be harder than the resin covering the carbon fiber matt. Shoe soles would scuff it the CF easier I think. I have a harder time not hitting the door speaker cover with my long legs and shoes when I have to park and squeeze out in tight parking spots. Our doors are pretty long.
