If you are purchasing anything from this company ensure that you read the fine print. They do not take back numerous items especially electrical no matter if the item if under spec. not as requested or defective. They give you a long stall, a lot of excuses, quote assorted laws and the like but will not take the item back. I enquired before purchasing a HD wire harness if it would handle 140/100 watt bulbs and was assured it would. I also asked if the relays needed mounting, you dont have to as it is "plug and play" was the reply. Upon receiving the harness I couldnt believe that there was only 3" of fusible link and 4 " of 14 ga wire leading to the relays , this meant that you have them hanging down between the battery terminals by the wires so no way can you mount them. The main wire from the relays e to the front of the car is to short therfore you must run it along the side of the fender -it cannot exit the battery box through the bottom where the other wires exit. The unit I recieved was also broken as the headlight doors would not close. I couldnt figure out the problem so took to GM and they said the harness was not up to spec as 40 watt relays are required for my bulbs. I informed Corvette stores and got a lot of run around for over 2 days. So as I had already installed the headlights I had a custom harness made up locally like the one you see on the C5 forum with 40 watt hella relays and complete 10 ga wire, and it works great. I tried to return the harness even saying that I would take other parts in trade but no was the answer and then they started with a lot of other BS including their hiding behind US Laws that mean nothing to me as I am in Canada .
I won't do business with them and I can only advise forum members that they need to read the small print with these guys and if any of you are looking for an under spec harness with a faulty relay and no warrenty give me a shout.

Their harness is short in a few areas, but I have had no problems with it and I run 150/100 ceramic PIAA bulbs, if it was longer in a few areas it would make for a better install

I have seen the harness in question and I would not have it in my vehicle for the high amperage bulb application. On high beam at 150 watts per side, you are drawing 12.5 amps (at 12 volts) per side. This means 25 amps through a single high beam relay. I want at least 12 gauge and preferrably 10 gauge wire to ensure no meltdowns, including connectors.
Maybe I'm being overly conservative, but why cheap out on an $86K (CDN, taxes in) vehicle.
You should still have coverage under I believe the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act, 15 USC, chapter 50. This covers all products over $5. Here is the link: http://uscode.house.gov/DOWNLOAD/15C50.DOC

I'm not sticking up for a vendor because I am one ...and I'll admit I don't know of your specific issue other than what you have told us here and certainly can see your frustration, but, the C/S, Brian(Member-Redshift) has been a supporting vendor from the beginning and I can't say I have seen any issues come up with his products in the past here. Weird he hasn't responded unless he is oiut of town or something.
Did you speak directly with him at the Corvette Store to get this resolved?

I talked to the company that made the harness, they build harnesses for my engine builder, I told them what lights I was using and asked if the harness would take the load, the owner of the company who my engine builder knows personally said he stand behind his product, that was good enough for me. We did some inferred temp readings after leaving the high beams on for about an hour, other than the glass lenes getting hot we did not see much heat buildup at all in the wiring or the relays. I would not put it in my car if I thought it would cause a problem, but I understand your concerns.
Gents,
was in a similar situation with a product, called my CC Company........they unformed me, they COULD NOT revoke, charge back on any item.
Unless it was under 30 days from recipt of goods......
Check with your CC Co......
