Does Anyone Here Have The Black Z06 Motorsports Wheels On Their Car....need Pics!!

I was wondering if anyone had any pics of the black Z06 Motorsports wheels on their car. I am considering putting them on my TR Z06. I currently have my stock wheels powder coated black and I am thinking of selling mine and buying the Motorsports wheels.

So, if you have pics of . Please post them!!

Thanks in advance!!

I'll let you know how they look when mine show up (UPS said today! ) I also have the Durastop rotors so you will get a good idea. I got the stock wheel size though.

My wheels did show up, but one of the rears has a ding in the lip.
I'm sure Nate will make it right, but what a pain in the a&%!

Sonofa ^%$#&# Tom! Was the packaging damaged?

Other than that, what are your impressions?

I'm not sure if it was shipping damage or not. The box didn't show any damage and they had the wheel wrapped up pretty good. As for my initial impression; the wheels look well made but they don't paint the inside. You can see over-spray inside from where they painted the front. I think I'll paint the inner surface before I put them on the car. That is my only complaint so far, (other than the damage) but I'll keep you all posted.

Hey Tom!!
Wow, you and I both have our wheels and I'm really sorry to hear and see that one is damaged. I have'nt checked mine....they JUST arrived, I'm heading over to check now though. And what a packaging job, very well protected ( one the one I popped open) so I think something might have happened before they shipped. I'm sure Nate will take good care of you.
And yes the wheels look great but I have the same comment on the inside of the wheel. Overspray and unfinished. But I think I'm going to clear the whole thing after a little rub down on the inside of the rim. It'll delay the install a bit but I think they'll be more presentable. Besides, I have to wait for the BFG's to come in.......anticipation...............
Keep in touch bud.
Mike

That evidently is common practice when painting wheels. When I had my wheels painted, I had to specifically ask to have the inside painted. They charged me $5 extra per wheel. I think it is neccessary with how open the design is.

Javelin,
I remember you saying in another thread that you had to specifically request that the guy who did your wheels paint the inside. Damn, I should have thought of that when I ordered them. Nate has each set made so I could have probably requested that he have the inside painted. I think I'll just try painting them flat black so the brake dust won't show.

Mike,
You're right about the packing job. That's what led me to believe the damage wasn't done in shipping. Let me know how yours turn out.

Take care bros,
