A Finishing Touch

For anyone who has taken off antenna which leaves the threaded portion still exposed; Found part item #47390 VACU-TITE/ is a rubber vacuum cap 5/32" that fits good over these threads.

Sorry for the confusion

Found this at Checkers Automotive. Manufacture is VACU-TITE. Part # 47390 and is 5/32 black vacuum cap.

Accidently had wrong pic. here, and thought it was deleated.
Well heres the right one. but even in the dark it looks good depending on the number of drinks.

Got pic on misc. forum "A Finishing Touch"

Yep, I did the same 'trick' on my Z. I happened to find a perfect rubber cap in my tool box .

I don't even see any difference in the radio reception either ... at least around town
