I like the Ripper, but recently something has taken a toll on the performance and the shifts under power from 2nd to 3rd jam.
Could be the slave cyl. in the clutch as well.

Jim,
We have only had stock long enough to repackage and ship.

The product had quite a bit of discussion from the beta testers and having talked with the designer, I felt it was good to go without holding one back for local testing or anything like we se on other mods. Only a handful of really local guys around here have gotten one and we haven't caught up since then.
The links above tell the story of what other threads on other boards have described. The comments here on z06vette.com have been very positive as well.
On the Ripper, the main feedback I've had is that it's a little stiff and rattles if you don't deaden it with taped weights. Stock knob keeper seem to be more noisy at high rpm. A lot of wives/girlfriends didn't like the stiffness and avoided the car(yes, insert joke here

) Some guys LIKE that about the Ripper, that their wife stays out of the car. They also like the brute force sturdiness they feel with it. Other guys CAN'T have one because the wife/girlfriend didn't like and asked for, and got, a change to the Kirban in the past. Kind of like a really loud exhaust. Some guys just can't have them.
The Ripper is good. The Kirban is also pretty good with the new noise reducer and the Hurst seems to be a great addition to the field and even has adjustability. You know how they like to 'tinker'.
