How much of your console do you have to disassemble to install it?

havent done yet but i think all you do compress around edges and it pops right out.... the shift knob is another story......i have done a camaro shifter install and spent a 1/2 hour on the wedge and at least 5 beers ....time well spent i suppose... it all comes down to a breeze once the wedge is out bring a six pack

When I replaced my shifter I just worked the wedge up using a side to side motion. Having a good pair of pliers doesn't hurt either.

After the knob is off just squeeze the compression band and work it up out of the console.

A fairly easy install.
