Vararam Intake for Z06--water getting into engine!

I'm wondering if any of you guys who have installed this product on your Z06 have had any problems with water getting forced into your engine. I recently bought the kit, but the instructions kinda scared me, stating that water can get into the engine. Just looking for advice. I want to put it on for the added hp, but not if it's a big risk to the engine during rainy weather. How big of a power gain can I expect and is it noticeable?? I welcome your comments!

Don't worry about driving in the rain. Keep your car out of lakes and enjoy the new power gains

Use the K&N filter and as long as you don't drive thru stream beds -- enjoy the mod!

All aftermarket products need to work as advertised. If an air intake was helping to hydrolock engines - Vararam would be out of business!

So........ enjoy your mod!

Last year I go stuck in a heavy down pour on I95 heading to the Z06 Fest in BWG. (Only time the car has been out in the rain.). It was coming down in buckets on I95 and I had no problems with the VaraRam. Hydroplaning was another issue altogether.

I hear unless you get caught in a flood, your OK. Enjoy the mod
