Two of the original 5 1963 Grand Sports raced on Sunday against the fliptop 1600 lb 427 Cobra and a bunch of other corvettes and a couple of Corvettes. There was a Corvette parade of all years on Sunday and a Corvette parade of all Corvettes in the Corvette Corrals on Sunday (fyrcaptain, Gleb and I were in that one). I had a Z06 banner on my dash during my laps, so look for my EB/ModRed if they show the parade on Sunday. The parade on Sunday went by generation, so the C5's were at the back, but they had the Z06's lead the C5's

. All the Z's got to go full throttle by the Grandstand, and a lot of us got to go as fast as we wanted on the Corkscrew (with a capital "C"!!!) and some of the turns. It was a blast. There were so many L-88's there, and most of the historic Corvettes were there, including the Manta Ray and Mako Shark concept cars from the 60's, Bill Mitchell's Stingray racer, etc. On Saturday and Sunday the Le Mans winning C5R did victory laps around the track between races! That thing screamed around the track!!! It was truly Corvettopia!!!
I won't get to watch it today (work), but I intend to record it on Tuesday. I'm going to buy a DVD recorder this weekend. If anyone can record it and make a .mpeg file out of it, that would be

! Let me know what happens! Look for my Z06Vette.com banner if they show the Corvette parade on Sunday!
