High horsepower or hard-core track days can be hard on engine oil temperatures. The Pfadt C5 Oil Cooler Kit is a complete solution that reduces engine oil temperatures as much as 60 degrees. Testing included use on the Pfadt C5 race car in harsh conditions at the NASA National Competition where the car took 3rd place.
The kit provides custom, lightweight ducting to direct the maximum amount of air to the stand-alone cooler, braided stainless steel lines with pre-assembled AN fittings, billet aluminum Pfadt oil block, and attachment hardware.
The kit looks awesome on the front of the car. The mesh matches the style of the Z06 front air covers and the stock license plate can easily replace the mesh for cold-weather or easy street driving.
The Pfadt oil block is also available separately to allow installation of a remote oil filter or to eliminate the sandwich style plate often used with "cheap" oil cooler set ups.
