That, my friends, is excellent value! VERY close, depending on cam spec's, to our One Lap Special, although Lingenfelter's did ours, in-house, and I'm sure Steve Lambert added a trick or two...
Stock, untouched shortblock, with our Lingenfelter LongTubes, Random Technology 3" Metal Matrix cats, 3" Random Tech stainless x-pipe and 3" Randon Tech stainless rear exhaust (see rear photos in my "gallery"), and just how "sharp" a tune (we were a little soft to allow leeway for CA's "91" octane pumpcrap) SHOULD make 430-450 rwhp, or, allowing 13% for 6-speed driveline "appetite", 485-509 @ the flywheel horsies...
An increase of a solid 100 rwhp for 6-large? Now THAT'S value....
IMHO

PS:
Ours started as a 6000 mile '01, no oil consumption problems, with 330-ish rwhp, as delivered to Lingenfelter's...
FULL details in an upcoming Chevy High Performance Magazine tech Feature. "Stay tuned"...

I don't know about "112", but the 228/228 .588 .588 @ 114 package in my '02 Z06 is no different than stock except you have lots more power.

Lumpier idle, but enough "lope" that you'll get noticed. Raises your power peak, depending on how the cam is installed (straight up, or advanced a degree or two), so this thing will pull ALL the way to factory-set redline. Great pull from 3000-up...

hhhmmmmm. Between this thread and LG's thread, there's a couple really good affordable options out there. Makes a guy think real hard about doing something like this.

Man if you were closer to Charlotte I would be all over it.
More Performance here for the same cost only get's you a header and cam combo.
No heads, timing chain,etc..

Wish I had a top notch reasonable shop here.
