Smoothie License Plate Surrounds, Anyone have them?

Well, the temp tags will be coming off in a week. I'll have to put the front tag on the vehicle. I saw the above and I think they look half way decent.

Does anyone have these?

Are they any good?

Are these made by Kewl or are they just reselling Chevrolet parts?

Are they less expensive version some where else?

I like them, but just don't see $100+ for some plastic license plate frames.

I have the clear cover on mine. It fits very well and looks OK as well. It is not a GM part.

I have the clear liscence plate cover, you can have it if ya want it. I never used it. PM me with your mailing address and I'll have my wife fish it out and mail it to you.

My local body shop painted my frame. Way less than a C note

I don't think the clear cover would work with the license frame because it screws into the bumper cover. The screw in location is covered by the license frame.

If you can handle a spray can without drips or runs I would suggest:

sand the frame
prime
sand
spray with touch up paint
sand
spray with touch up paint
repeat until satisfied with finish
clear coat.
