I am going to this class to finally find out how to use the steering wheel

You will luv it! You'll use more than the steering wheel...go pedal, clutch, heel, toe, brake, shift lever.... all at the same time.

BTW, you'll find out real fast about NOT keeping your hand on the shift knob between shifts. A definite no-no from the instructors.
