Supermaxx headers available. Long primaries like LG headers. GP?

I have a set in stock and will be testing them on my Z06 this week. Will have dyno results soon.

Headers are 1 3/4 and have 32 inch long primaries like LG headers. The system is all stainless (headers/hi flow cats/x pipe). The system completely bolts up, no cutting or welding. Pricing is 1479.00, but will offer a deeper discount if you guys insist!

The manufacturer has been in business for a while and presently makes headers for a well known company called FLP.

Please email me for more info...
Thank you,

Nate

Nate, do you have any results to report? Does anyone have experience with these headers. They look like they have some nice features, but I need to hear about the results.

They look pretty good. They are made by Dynatech for those that might be interested.

Howdy -

I've been on deck for headers for a while now - but since headers for Vettes are so dang pricey, I've been trying to determine the best value (if you can say performance parts and value in the same sentence )

Anyway, I've been very interested in the Kooks - they seem to be making some excellent numbers even though they may not be as "long" some manufacturers. I would like to see some dyno graphs of the Kooks, and get a perspective on the area-under-the-curve, low end TQ figures etc.

Then I saw these new Supermaxx headers - they seem to be very close to LG's (length, bends, etc.) they're all stainless, including all the mid-pipes and cats, they have thick flanges, some slick connectors/fasteners, and come with all the install hardware.

I was going to go cheap and do headers with stock cats/mid-pipes, but then a) the oem stuff get's maimed, and 2) then welding enters the equation (meaning no at home install for me).

I wonder how the install effort is on the Supermaxx vs. the Kooks? The ability to do a home install for me means a pretty good bit of savings, plus simplified logistics (the only installer I trust is 2 hours away).

I believe someone said Dynotech sent them an install guide? (which is pretty awesome from a CS perspective). Wonder if it's available digital (like a PDF). If I can get a set of headers I can install, I'll go full system, if not, I might just go headers only.

A GP would be awesome, but I would think it would take at least 5+ orders to make a difference on price? Heck Nate, let us know what you can do!

Thanks for the rambling space

Quick addendum:

According to the other forum, the gentlemen who requested an install guide, got it in PDF, so I think I'll get a copy myself

Only problem I see with Supermaxx is that they are only available in 2.5 inch....Good for basic stock motor but not enough if you start to do H/c or supercharging IMHO

I think your refering to the mid pipe diameter of 2.5". The collector from the header is not 2.5"

MTI is testing a set of these on my car right now along with a set of Kooks headers. The header collector is 3" and adapts to my Random Tech 3" cross pipe.

The 2.5" diameter you speak of is on the outlet side of their converter to the cross pipe. Inlet side of converter is 3"

I have no idea why the heck they set their mid pipe up as a 2.5"

I'd suggest using the Dynatech headers only and using a 3"
midpipe and cats.
