RG, how come powershifter never gained 3-4mph? He was running 11.90's@118 so according to Vararam he should now be running at least 11.55@121. Those are the minimums in gains.

Uhh, let's see a K&N filter, a 160 stat, a throttle body by pass-those mods are VERY CLOSE to stock. So are u saying RIC was running 12.2's@114 before the Vararam? Then I guess if u already have those mods the Vararam is only worth 1 tenth and 1 mph-for $428.

OK, how about this...if I'm in the left lane, and run better than you by 1 tenth and 1 mph, I win, right? To some that is mucho important, to others, it's not worth the time of day.
If you'd like to get in on the deal, please call me to order. We will guarantee your results from stock as promised. If you don't get what they promise, we'll refund you. If not, then stick with what you have and keep up those superb driving skills and you'll beat most guys anyway. Great drivers like you and Ric may not benefit from mods like the average Joe out there but the guarnatee still applies from stock.
The mods Ric has would cost about 140 bucks or so for the regular buyer, so, I guess we'd subtract that from the 428, shipped free, and get the cost of improvement.
You've done very, very well with a MAFT and the Borlas, and a filter tied on and that tstat fan controller. For the $700+/-(U.S.) you've spent(guessing at the pricing of it all), you've got what you want... Congrats!!
Hey RG I'm sorry for starting this-It looks like a good product but I just expected it to show more of a difference on Ric's car. The maft was easy to set up-my scanner was showing LT fuel trims to be adding 4% fuel. Therefore I just leaned out the wot on the maft to -4. Went back and forth the same day at the track and it consistently gives me 1-1.5 mph gain-60 foot's being equal. Ur an excellent vendor and I have dealt with u before ( I bought a blackwing from yah) and If I was going to buy a Vararam I would come to u.

No way, no need to apologize, this is a discussion based forum and it's open to all. Ask away and I will answer as best I can.

Vortech, I think the thing I got most out of Ric's posting on Vararam wasn't the time difference so much as the SOTP feel he had. Someone with his racing knowledge and experience makes SOTP 'feel' more credible than ....say a relatively new 1/4 miler like myself.
By the way, before someone asks, I am not conceding that the Vararam is better than the T1. I , honest to God, don't know, and frankly don't care. After viewing a lot of posts on this subject (too many) , my conclusion is that they are both good systems and will produce results.
(didn't mean to get off the subject, but figured someone might bring this up since I have the T1 and not Vararam)
