Shawn, just a bit of constructive criticism (since I do this for a living), the page is WAY too heavy, and stuff on the front page should be "above the fold" to get users attention. Navigation by vendor on the bottom will be missed...I got more, but I'll lay off

Better than the last one though.......

I have to agree... The main page is way too busy... The look on the other pages work well though

whoa
i've got cable here and the index page still took awhile to load

i feel for people in dialup

Also, I use Opera (NOT IE ) and your product descriptions (after I like on say radiators) goes waaaaaaaaay off to the side.

Some testing with browsers other than IE would help. Also you might try validating the HTML/CSS with the w3.org's validator tools.

A bit busy, but looks good and seems to load quickly at work (T1) and home (DSL), but I pity dial-up. Now, how about those Hurst backorders? That's what I really am concerned about.

I do site development too and while Opera is a nice browser system, its just not worth the time to ensure 100% compatability. IE may be junk but its way ahead of Netscape which itself is miles ahead (in terms of # of users) of all the others.

Time is money and I've got too little of both. Something I'm sure most developers would agree with.

Maybe by the NEXT standard everyone will pay attention.... nyah, never happen.

I never saw the old site, but I do like the design of this one. I'm not a big fan of background music for webpages (even though I do like the song you used - sounds like crystal method... reminds me of blade or the matrix ) mostly because I always have my own tunes playing.. I should probably just disable the auto-playing of songs sound files I guess...

Loaded plenty fast for me (1.5mbit DSL)
