21st CMC / LPE Stage II TT

I have had my car in at 21st CMC and today I get the call from Andy, come on down...it's on the dyno. All I can say is OMG!!!

After the fine tuning we unstrapped her and took her out for some real world driving. Everything tech two-ed perfectly. It's hard to describe how the car feels at WOT, it has to be experienced because no words can capture the total sensory immersion ...it's surreal.

To everyone at 21st, thank you so much. You have surpassed all of my expectations. You all are the BEST.

JWz06.

JW,
I'm very happy for you

Now you can start ordering your next set of tires

Why did you not get the Borla's?

New tires and wheels are on the way. Fiskes w/ 265 18s front and 335 18s back. I left the stock Ti's on for stealth / suprise factor. All you hear is a Whooos.

I'd recommend wider then a 265 up front because with 335's out back your car will push through the turns if driven hard. :oo:

Believe me, I know how you feel. They are so stacked right now it's incredible. At least I am local and could drive by about any time I want to look at her and the progress being made. It was all worth the wait. Now that I'm not under their foot all the time, they will probably be able to get a lot more workdone.

You're getting the 427 C5R N/A right?

I don't drive hard through turns now...I blow past them on the straights

265's are as wide as you can go due to the configuration of the intercooler hoses from the front of the car through the upper and lower control arms back to the turbos. If you go wider, when turning full right or left the tire may rub.

JW,
I found some really nice benefits by changing to the Borla's.
I had the stock Ti system for the last 6 months and when i changed to the Borla's last week, WOW!!!!

The car spools MUCH quicker, especially on hot days.
The car runs cooler and more importantly, the clutch seems to give me a LOT less grief. I can only assume this is due to the hot turbo exhaust gases being expelled much quicker, thus lower the temps and creating a friendlier environment under the hood

It really is night and day!

My only downside is that i'm not forged yet, so i have to be very careful. She wants to go to 9+ lbs very quickly, so i keep the throttle under 75 %. Which is fine since i have limited traction anyway due to my need for new tires, again
