Advise from MikesZ06

Mike,

Just wanted to let you know that I value your experience and the advise that you provided me. I should have the 4.50" 8 rib supercharger pulley from ATI Procharger at MTI Racing of Marietta, GA today. Sean from ATI said that should put me around 12-13psi of boost. I'll repost and change my signature to reflect the new boost/power numbers from the dyno tune.

Thanks Mike!

Best of luck on your results, brutha!

I suspect you will be very, very pleased with the outcome of your beast.

Mike

Just keep in mind - Mike drives a '92 Honda Civic. It does have a Tial blow-off valve though.

You just can't beat the sound of the Borla Exhaust man. That beast sounds mean man. I had my Valentine One on but your right about the Five 0 being out in full force. I raced a modded red SRT4 and an Electric Blue GTO tonight as well. It wasn't close but it was fun.

Thanks, I love the Stingers, much better than the Corsa's I had.

If that GTO had catoosa tags then it's the same one I ran before I put the heads on. I put about 3-4 cars on him in 3rd and let out.

Was you just out cruising around tonight?

It was Catoosa county plates. I let him get a few cars on me before I blew by him in third. I was out cruising looking for a little exitement before I went home. Boy did I find it tonight. The Latino in the red SRT4 had just asked me had I raced you yet and I said no. We both pulled over and talked for a while.

Oh so you ran the SRT before running me? I don't know him so I don't know how he'd know my car other than seeing it at my shop?

How did the SRT4 run compared to our runs? I don't know what's done to his but some of those cars with a big turbo and high boost on race gas will freakin stroll from a roll.

He was on his way to fill up with race gas but was on 93 octane like me when we ran. He said he was only putting like 320 to the front wheels but it ran strong from a roll. I ran off big time 1-4 but then we did a few 3rd gear rolls for me and it was much closer. No where near as close as yours though. I just don't want to Dis. the SRT4 because it was strong. But for the night you were by far the best run with the GTO being second and the SRT4 being a respectable 3rd.
