I am wondering if anyone has hit the rev limiter on nitrous without a RPM window switch. Did it do any damage? If so, what broke? What shot were you running? I am wondering how it would damage the motor other then possibly rev over 7k RPM. I have heard several people say that they have hit the rev limiter on the juice without any damage, but thought I would ask the community.
I have never hit the limiter with Nitrous on my truck, but it doesn't tach out as quick as compared to the vette. I'm just really curious if anyone has really done any damage hitting the rev limiter while on nitrous without a RPM window switch. I have never heard of it, just sounds like rumors
I like AZ. I was born and raised here, so I'm biased. X-treme Motorsports does a lot of Corvettes and I would recommend them. They have always been really cool to work with. I live in Tucson now, but I still make the drive to Xtreme because of how good they are. There are also a lot of track events here as well. As for this post, I have never seen anyone actually damage their car on nitrous hitting the rev limiter. I was hoping to find someone that had a horror story to convince me to put one it

To be honest, it's just a good idea to have a windown switch. I have one with my set up.
My friend did it in his GTO a few times, he was doing it on purpose because he didn't know that he wasn't supposed to and he burnt up a piston. I highly recommend putting a window switch on.
