Baseline dyno.. thoughts?

I just received the results of my 2003 Z's first dyno session and was hoping to get some thoughts. It was for a baseline before installing LT headers and having the car tuned, and it turned in 361.7 HP and 342.6 torque.. I did a quick search regarding stock horsepower numbers, and it appeared that my torque number is down? Is that the case or is 342.6 in the normal range? By the way, I do have a vararam and GHL bullet mufflers installed..

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Ben

There's different results for lots of reasons. With your present mods, your numbers are just about right. For instance, my '02 with headers, and homemade/ebay intake and no tune, got 370/359 HP/TQ. With a Predator built-in (not dyno adjusted) tune it got 379/ 358. Torque actually dropped a little, while HP gained. I'm guessing I started (stock) with about 350/340.

Thanks for the reply.. I'm really excited to see where the headers and tune take my car. I'm hopeful it will be really noticeable by the seat of the pants test.. I'm also looking forward to the new sound with the headers and x-pipe / high flow cats..

Those are good numbers. Dyno numbers are affected a lot by ambient temp and humidity.
