Hey guys , I haven't posted here in a while , I recently updated my custom Cartek/STS rear-mount single turbo set up that ran a best of 9.33 at 149 , driven to and from the track on drag radials . I upgraded the turbo from a 76mm , to an 88mm , upgraded to a larger air-2-air FMIC , and larger cold piping to the intercooler . The car is making good power
( 974lbs of torque at 4200rpm's , 851rwhp ) this is with a lot of back pressure due to my 3-inch single exhaust , Cartek is working on a fix to free up more power and make the system more efficient . I also added an RPM 4L80E Transmission conversion , my car is the first C5 I know of that's actually had road testing with a 4L80E , I love the new trans , it shifts great , and has different gearing than the 4L60E it replaced , the better gearing has less rpm drop between gears , this helps keep the motor in it's power band longer .
Here's a few videos from last weeks dyno session , the car has about 10 dyno pulls and about 500 miles on the new motor , so it's still breaking in .
