direct port pictures

Could you guys post up any pics you have of your direct port setups? I'm especially interested in how the distribution block is mounted, where it is etc.

I just got my NX kit and am going to run a dedicated low pressure fuel cell.

Chris, how did you mount your solenoids? Do you have some close ups? Are you running your fuel supply from the rail? It looks that way, but I also see a line running off it as well.

The kit is adjustable from 100-500 hp. I am going to run a 200 shot. I just installed it though and have not been to the dyno. It will be ready for next season. I am hoping the bottom end will stay together for one season, then forged storker. The solenoids are hard tubed from the block to the solenoid. The tubing supports the block and solenoids. I am going to try and run it from the rail, but if fuel becomes an issue I already have plans for a stand alone fuel system. The line running to the front goes to an accumulator mounted next to the air filter. It helps minimize the fuel pressure drop at the inital hit.

Forgive me, but I do not know what a 'hard tube' is. Could you explain or send a close up? I have the same kit, I trust its the EFI from NX?

Yes the kit is the NX EFI kit. What I mean by "hard tube" is stainless steel rigid tubing which must be bent with a tubing bender and flared at both ends. As opposed to SS braided flexible tubing(hose). The rigid tubing like you see inthe picture running from the block to each nozzle and from the block to the solenoids is strong enough to support the soleniods without additional brackets.

Are these the 16 hard lines that came with the kit you mean? I figured they looked very rigid. Who bent the lines etc? I am thinking I may have NX do it, or someone.

Do you use the LSX manifold?
