Dry or wet shot on a Magnuson?

Hello,

Looking for some advice/recommendation, I have a Magnuson MP112 on my Mercedes Benz 4.3 V8 and I'm interested to run a small shot (35 -50), any advantages or disadvantages to running either a dry or wet shot on the Eaton?

Any info is greatly appreciated

In all honesty, you may want to post this on a Lightning or Cobra forum, although there are 1-2 people on this board that run nitrous on their Magnacharged Z06 motors.

I know there are a number of guys running nitrous on their Lightnings which use the M112 Eaton blower. Many/most of them are wet kits. If you do not have a boost-referenced fuel pressure regulator, a dry kit will not work (unless you inject it in front of the MAF meter...which I personally would not do, especially on a blown application).

WA 2 FST,

Thanks a bunch for your reply

BTW: Pardon my ignorance, why do you not recommend injecting in front of the MAF?

Also, I'm off to check the forums you suggested

One reason is that the MAF element was never intended to see temp extremes as cold as nitrous oxide. I know there are a lot of people who have run dry kits like this with success, but I personally believe the wet kit is better.

I'm assuming your referring to "Maggie"

I've posted this topic on other forums and the consensus do say go with a wet shot.
