runing a ractronics fuel system with KB boost a pump and 60 lb injectors, driving very non-agressively i went througha tank of gas in 170 miles, does that seem right? i rarely got the car into boost.
yeah it seems i am blowing through a lot of fuel when ever get into boost (judging from the cloud i leave behind)
That's fuel build up from closed loop fuel trims being too negative.
Rob's car was doing the same thing.
My forged 347 with 60s was getting 24-26 hwy, 18-19 around town. Average 22.
If I put the cruise on I was good for 30.
Pick up my 408 15psi 2morrow to start the break in, should be 725+.
I'll post my fuel use.
Damn, 9 mpg and you're not even driving it hard? I guess when you consider a stock 450 horse Viper averages about the same, it doesn't seen too bad considering you're making about 300 horse more. Even still, that doesn't sound right.
On my 500 mile trip back to Toronto from ECS, I averaged 28.7 mpg with cruise set at 75 mph.
Drop the hammer though, and you'd swear your flushing a toilet....

LOL!
Im sorry, I really laughed at that for some reason. Man thats like 9 mpg....
~17-18mpg city, and the one highway trip I did netted 27+mpg averaging 81mph. If I'd slowed a bit, it would have been a little higher.
