hey guys -- i am new here. i am waiting for my '06 and in the mean time i am looking for places to order parts from. i am looking to buy a supercharger, exhaust, rims, etc etc. what are some good web sites to browse around and look for accessories for the z06?
Many options for S/C's. If you want to make the "big" power, then choose a custom supercharger system from either ECS or A&A Corvette, both supporting vendors at this site and with "banners" on the far left side of this page. Either one of their kits will provide a big kick to your Z06.

thanks alot!
Here are the places I'd go to for power, looks etc: Its all about how fast you want to go and how much you want to spend...I prefer cubes as opposed to forced induction or laughing gas. My opinion. I like the linear power of cubes and the instant-on throttle response and the reliability of cubes vis-a-vis a supercharger can't be matched unless you reinforce the bottom end of the motor and internals. Just my $0.02 worth.
Here are the go-fast guys - most are supporting vendors:
Mallett, Thunder Racing, Lingenfelter, Fikse, Vette Essentials, Baer Racing, Kooks, and Borla. I've had experience with all of them and they're all great...
what are "cubes"? sorry if i seem absolutely clueless.. but like i said, i am new here. i dont have any experience with vettes, i have been working with toyota supras for about 4 years now, so i am just getting aquainted with the v8.
Welcome aboard! "Cubes" refers to the cubic inch displacement of the motor. The banners on the left of this site will help you in making choices. A search of the threads have helped me decide on the vendors and mods based on customer satisfaction and the desired results. Have fun with your search.

There are 3 main supercharger choices for the C5: Magnussen, ATI and Vortech. You may want to do a search if you haven't made up your mind yet. If you're a DIY'er (like me ), Tom Byrne has some great prices on superchargers.
I bought my long tubes directly from LG Motorsports. There are a handful of good choices out there, but I would recommend long tubes with a good x-pipe and cats over a set of shorties. Can't help with with catbacks, as I still have the stock titanium
I have HRE wheels and love 'em. There are a bunch of great looking choices out there, with the best bling for your buck being the CCW 19s. I have some pics of Z06s with different wheels at http://www.ls6.net/wheels/
May want to check out Fikse USA wheels if you are looking at wheels. They are forged 3-piece wheels made from 6000 series aluminum and are stronger and lighter than any other brand. They are the finest wheels available and are used by more race teams than any other brand. They are not cheap.
