That car is just bad ass. Nice job of driving. If you remember, we met the first time when you had those "mufflers" originally installed down in Cream Ridge. Looks like you let New Era take it up a whole notch or two. Great job on their part.
What clutch are you running to hold that power? I'm curious.
I know you left off at 1200, but I couldn't see the time or mph...what were the incrementals?
Don
The clutch is the Spec twin carbon. The run in the video was 10.1 @ 142.8 with a 1.5 60'.
Even though it was only the first run (beyond the 1/8th) I wish I would have finished it !!! I don't know if they will let me back on the track as it is.....
I'm really pleased overall, since it was at a very low boost level and only my second time in the seat. - WAY more left in it...
Damn...I give up.....You got a free beer !! See ya in BG

Dam, that run was awesome and banging the gears too Is this still the basically the STS setup? If so i think you could/should see about getting some sponsor ship.

Well, that was certainly a 9.xx pass had you stayed in it...the only question is whether the first x would have been a 9,8 or perhaps a 7. The mph indicates the liklihood of a 7...impressive for a stick car, as you well know.
The 1.5-60' with that much power is not shabby...get that down to a 1.43-1.45 coupled with a complete pass and you might be as low as a 9.5x....if they let you back.
Hey Pit,
looks like we are all gonna be buying Stry dinner and drinks this year! That car just flat hauls azz! Hell, that trap speed should be good for mid 9's easily. I can't imagine what it'll do when he turns up the boost! Congrats Steve,,,,awesome job!

OK Steve, now that you've managed to scare the Sh!t out of anyone who ends up in the other lane at the drags (with maybe a very few exceptions), what ya gonna do for an encore?
