SORRY Didnt see there was a poll, I problably on about off subject stuff, but I choose the Vortech for it can be Quiet(Sleeper) and I had it and liked it. The ATI would be similar but I heard a Corvette with one and I could here a bunch of noise from the belts sounded like a broken motor, But I heard ATI fixed those noises and are quieter but problably not as much as the Vortec, as far as the Magna, Buying the hood would take away its cheaper price, plus the low end, Like many other guys say, would give more off the line but not on street tires, it would problably lose from traction problems, and vortec does what I said in the previous couple of post Which one ever you do, It will fun, actually the extra weight on the front helped me control my fishtailing better, with more power all I had to do is turn the wheel whatever I wanted the car to spin its Butt to, and I would do it so SAAWEEEETT!!!
Not my car, but a good friends that has an ATI great when the belt stays on, keeps throwing belts. I know, assume, it has to be pulley alignment. Some one mentioned a new pulley arrangement by ATI, is this true? Any help would be appreciated. Can email me directly too.

Looks like the Kenne Bell whipple supercharger kit will be available very soon.....maybe August, 2005. Recently read this on another thread(this forum).....guy called Kenne Bell and that is what he was told
You can find it shown as "coming soon" on the website: xxxeditedxxx
Right now I'm getting a C5R built. Builder claims 600 rwhp.
If I find that's not enough, I'd get a Kenne Bell kit. The whipple design is supposed to be far superior to the Mag and the centrifical units

Reason: link to non site vendor
I wouldnt take a maggie for free
Stock vs Stock, i'd take the ATI cause it has an air/air IC.
If i was to buy anything it would HAVE TO BE from A&A, and it would be the new vortech system they have. Seems to be having good results with it but only if they replace the water cooling system with air cooling.
where do u get a 6 or 8 rib kit for the magnuson? im getting ready to order mine within the next month
From my understanding we are the only company providing an eight rib kit for the magnuson with an upgraded tensioner.
I'm surprised in this entire thread no one mentioned the ECS PAXTON kit, being the record holder for the fastest S/C'd C5.....
(along with our Procharger kit being the second fastest)
I'd go Vortec..Im runnin 600 RWHP...489TQ. 8 Lbs boost SQ...Methanol injection.A&A "BOMB-ASS" install...The best tune..by "charlie"......the man...I'll just say that my car ..F.@$#...RIPPS!!!!! VORTEC ALL THE WAY>>>>>HANDS DOWN>>>>>!
I agree...I have the new A&A supercharger system....They really have taken it to another level! The workmanship is outstanding...and all of their modifications are just so effective and not to say, every single part fits just so perfect. Man i cant imagine how much time it took them to get it right on the $!....but its just what they all say..."perfection takes time.." I am just so happy to have taken my car to A&A corvette in Oxnard. The supercharger system is in every aspect the best, efficient, quiet, powerful, and best looking under the hood! The installation is immaculate...it just looks so perfect, I really cant even find as much as a smudge or fingerprint anywhere..?? They really have the best team of technicians I have ever seen!
